When in the Groups section, click the pencil icon to see the names of all current group members.
Contact the group owner (if not yourself) to make the change. The owner of a group is shown to the right of the group name when in the Groups section.
Navigate to the left side menu, select 'Users', then click on the context menu to the right of the name of the user you wish to update and choose 'Edit Role'.
Select the Administrator box to upgrade a user to administrator permissions. Later, if you experience a change in team structure or roles change, simply return to this screen and uncheck the box to downgrade individuals back to 'user only' permissions.
Please note that only Administrators can update user roles for the organization. For more detail on the user roles and their permissions, please see this post; User Roles in DocuShare Go.
After adding a new folder (or modifying an existing one), navigate to the metadata submenu and click the classification dropdown.
Select from classification options like invoice, packing slip, receipt, and more!
While signed into DocuShare Go, navigate to the profile menu and click Account Settings.
From the Account Settings page, click Update MFA to change your authentication option.
Choose SMS to enter your mobile number to authenticate via text message, or choose Authenticator App instead.
There are several occasions that necessitate deactivating or deleting a user from your DS Go account. But before you do so, consider this:
- If the user may return at some point, simply deactivating their account leaves all of the content intact.
- Once you delete a user, this cannot be undone. If the user you intend to delete is the owner of any documents or collections, be sure to transfer them to another user (if not yourself) prior to deletion. Please note that once the documents are transferred, any shared links that had been created will no longer work, and new links will need to be generated.
- If you don't have the time to manage the documents, but need to revoke a user's access, deactivating the account ensures security while giving you the option to manage the content at a later time.
