  • Lock files and folders to avoid users making changes to a file until it is unlocked. Sharing and viewing of a locked file is permitted.
  • Users can check out a file or folder. Check out downloads a copy for the user, but prevents others from uploading new versions or making changes until the file or folder is checked back in. Sharing and viewing of a checked out file is permitted.
